Dr Kristoff received excellent orthodontic training from his AEGD residency. He offers Invisalign limited and comprehensive treatment for one or both arches. We often use Invisalign to to improve the cosmetic appearance of your smile, but we also focus on the proper function of your teeth as well. Additionally, we feature Invisalign Teen, which is great for young musicians, singers, actors, models, and athletes who would be inconvenienced by traditional braces.
Guess what? We digitally scan your teeth instead of taking impressions. That means a much more comfortable experience with NO GOOP! Orthodontic consultations are free with our current new patient offer. Come and find out if you are a good candidate for clear aligners.
How is it done? Invisalign uses custom-made aligners to treat misalignments of the teeth and jaws. Aligners are clear, removable appliances that are used in series to gradually straighten teeth. They look a lot like teeth-whitening trays, but are designed to apply controlled force to move teeth sequentially, and incrementally, throughout the course of treatment. You wear each aligner for 2 weeks, and see the doctor monthly to get your next set.
Aligners are made from strong, clear medical grade plastic that provides a comfortable, unnoticeable fit – no more bands or wires to irritate your mouth or affect your speech!
Do you grind your teeth? Uprighting your teeth and wearing Invisalign retainers is a great way to help patients with tooth grinding issues and recession of the gums. One side benefit is correct alignment of the teeth also opens the airway, which can provide better sleep. (Note: proper referral and sleep study is needed to diagnose airway obstructions. Let us know if you have problems sleeping).
